Undertakings certified to the Equivalence Standard \"Production standards and control measures\"<\/a> Reg. 2018\/848<\/a> requirements and who intend to export or are exporting to the EU must comply with the EU requirements for importing products into the EU, carrying out laboratory tests on products and requesting and validating a Certificate of Inspection (COI) in TRACES, respectively.\u00a0<\/p>

Companies certified to the STC Standard for UK organic requirements \"Production standards GB\"<\/a> Regs 2007\/834, 1235\/2008 and who intend to export or are exporting to Great Britain (GB) must comply with the GB requirements for importing produce into the country, carrying out laboratory tests on the produce and requesting and issuing a certificate of inspection (GB COI), as appropriate. The organic requirements in the UK are equivalent to the EC REg. 834\/2007 and Reg. 889\/2008.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

COI application<\/strong> Issuable from<\/strong> per transport unit, i.e. car, wagon train (if inseparable), ship, etc. The operator must be registered in the TRACES NT system, registration must be made after the schemes described HERE.<\/a><\/em><\/p>

The operator shall apply to the control authority for approval of the COI certificate in TRACES. The application shall be accompanied by the relevant documents proving the origin, traceability and compliance with the requirements of the BL.<\/p>

The operator enters information on the product to be exported\u00a0 https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/tracesnt\/login<\/a> and submit the request to the control authority by completing the application form and sending it by email: coi@stc.lv<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
