We are looking for a knowledgeable and responsible colleague who will organise the company\u2019s accounting, ensure the accuracy of financial information and provide support to management on financial matters.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
\n
To organise and oversee full-cycle accounting in accordance with the requirements of Latvian legislation.<\/li>\n
Prepare tax returns, financial statements and the company\u2019s annual report.<\/li>\n
To ensure the accounting and control of wages, fixed assets, accounts receivable and accounts payable.<\/li>\n
To record and allocate costs across the company\u2019s areas of operation.<\/li>\n
To ensure VAT accounting for taxable and non-taxable transactions.<\/li>\n
Update the organisation\u2019s accounting documents and improve accounting processes.<\/li>\n
To cooperate with auditors, the State Revenue Service, banks and other institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
\n
A degree in accountancy, finance or economics.<\/li>\n
Experience in full-cycle accounting and the preparation of annual accounts. Experience in the role of chief accountant will be considered an advantage.<\/li>\n
A good knowledge of Latvian accounting and tax legislation.<\/li>\n
Proficiency in using accounting software Horizon<\/strong>, the SRS EDS and Microsoft Excel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
The ability to organise one\u2019s own work independently, meet deadlines and analyse financial data.<\/li>\n
Accuracy, responsibility, confidentiality and good interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
Knowledge of the official language; knowledge of English and Russian would be an advantage (for working with clients from third countries);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
