STC says a huge thank you Investment and Development Agency of Latvia - LIAA<\/span> for the opportunity to participate in the world's leading organic food fair in Nuremberg, Germany \"\ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea\"<\/span><\/div><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
STC with its stand was part of the overall LATVIA MAGNETIC \"\ud83c\uddf1\ud83c\uddfb\" <\/span>booth, which provided an excellent opportunity to present our certification, training and other services to a wide range of interested parties.<\/div><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
STC made excellent use of this opportunity to approach and interest new potential customers for organic certification in third countries such as Uzbekistan \"\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddff\"<\/span>, Moldova \"\ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\udde9\"<\/span>, Tajikistan \"\ud83c\uddf9\ud83c\uddef\"<\/span>, Ukraine \"\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6\"<\/span>, as well as developing the cooperation already established with the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan on organising training on organic farming for Uzbek farmers and producers.<\/div><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
A meeting was also held with representatives of leading European laboratories to discuss cooperation to date and trends for future cooperation.<\/div>
The sessions and workshops held throughout the fair were valuable and informative:<\/div>
\"\u2618\ufe0f\"<\/span> A look at the first 6 months after the new Regulation 2018\/848<\/div>
\"\u2618\ufe0f\"<\/span> On the conduct of investigations into the presence of unauthorised substances in organic products<\/div>
\"\u2618\ufe0f\"<\/span> On the development of precautionary measures and the importance of identifying critical points at all stages of the production, preparation, supply and marketing of organic products<\/div>
\"\u2618\ufe0f\"<\/span> On the impact of the war in Ukraine on organic producers and processors #Ukraine<\/a> and the impact of war on markets in Europe and worldwide<\/div>
\"\u2618\ufe0f\"<\/span> Examples from Germany and France of the Green Deal for organic farming - how steps are being taken to promote and publicise organic farming, and how legislation is being put in place. What are the first steps to get the public to recognise and take an interest in the products and to increase production?<\/div><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
STC took the opportunity to meet European Commission<\/span> representatives in the field of organic farming and discuss issues that are important to them.<\/div><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
The meeting with FIBL representatives was valuable and cooperative. Research<\/span> Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL)<\/span> is one of the world's leading organic farming research institutes. The organisation of training for organic experts and producers was discussed and put on the table as an excellent way to gain new experiences and perspectives on the implementation measures and research in the field of organic farming of the new organic Regulation 2018\/848.<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
