Senior expert for organic certification

Responsibilities:

• Assessment of organic farming enterprises in accordance with the regulatory enactments on the procedure for monitoring and control of organic farming
• Documentation in accordance with quality system requirements
• Make recommendations on client cases
• Plan and manage the work of experts under your authority

Requirements:

• Relevant education in agriculture and/or food production, processing
• At least one year of practical experience in agricultural production and/or food processing
• Good knowledge of the national language (If applying for the Senior Expert for Third Country Clients position, knowledge of English and Russian is a desirable requirement. Language skills required for working with international standards and participation in international exhibitions)
• Independence in decision-making, high sense of responsibility, ability to organise work independently, good communication skills
• Ability to move dynamically within Latvia on a daily basis
• Category B driving licence
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
