Organic farming certification expert(s)

Responsibilities:

• Assessment of organic farming enterprises in accordance with the regulatory acts governing the procedures for the supervision and control of organic farming;
• Documentation in accordance with quality system requirements;
• Plan, monitor and manage the certification process for organic farming enterprises.

Requirements:

• Relevant education in agriculture, veterinary and/or food processing
• At least one year's practical experience in agricultural production and/or food processing;
• A good command of the national language; knowledge of English is desirable (Level C, for working with clients outside Latvia, complying with international standards, and participating in international exhibitions and organisations);
• Independence in decision-making, high sense of responsibility, ability to organise work independently, good communication skills;
• Category B driving licence;
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
