SIA Certification and Testing Centre invites you to a 16-hour BDUZ training course organised by the training centre on the restoration of grassland habitats and the conservation of biodiversity.
The training course lasts 2 days (16 hours in total):
• Day 1 – online theoretical training
• Day 2 – practical training on the farm, on site, alongside an expert
Planned duration of the course:
2 July 2026 on the Zoom platform 3 July, Vidzeme, 10 July, Latgale
The course will cover the types of protected grassland habitats and their restoration, the development of an ecological restoration plan, the identification of issues affecting the grassland to be restored, the drafting of a restoration plan, best practice in restoration, the assessment of grassland habitat quality and the effectiveness of restoration.
Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate which is valid for submission to the Rural Support Service (BDUZ) to fulfil the support requirements.
