To ensure that the equipment complies with the requirements of the regulatory enactments, the manufacturer must identify the essential safety requirements and carry out a risk assessment of the equipment.
The manufacturer, importer, distributor or his representative shall submit an application (in free form) and the technical documentation.
The risk assessment identifies hazards throughout the life cycle of the installation. Each identified hazard shall be assessed and measures identified to reduce the hazard to an acceptable level
The certification body issues a risk assessment upon mutual signature of the transfer deed and payment.
